| We have many ministries at our church for
members to get involved in. These groups provide outlets
for members to be taught the Word of God, encouraged in
their faith, and thus effectively minister to the church
and to the world.
Our department
provides Biblical training for elementary, junior high,
and high school age kids during each Sunday morning
service. Each class caters to the needs of the group
through a different approach, all striving for our youth
to grow stronger in their relationship with Christ.
There is also a nursery for younger children with attendants
each morning so the parents can be free to worship in
the sanctuary.
The and
also have groups where each are challenged to become
better men and women of God. The Men's Bible studies
focus mainly on the character of Godly men, allowing
them to share both their struggles and victories as
a man living in today's world. The Women learn how to
live their lives purposefully by fulfilling God’s
plan for them in their church, home, workplace and in
their communities. Both groups also plan outings for
its members to get to know each other more closely in
a relaxing atmosphere. Bible studies for each are held
every other Wednesday at 6:30pm at the church.
The department
at New Hope includes a live worship band that plays
every Sunday morning, with selections that cover all
ages and musical tastes. Our goal is to lead the church
in one unified praise to our God who deserves only our
best. We also have a choir that occasionally ministers
special music on Sunday mornings, and during our Christmas
and Easter services.
Our department
supports both financially and prayerfully local and
national missionaries, including those in the Philippines,
Australia and Mexico. Monetary love gifts and/or items
are also sent on occasion to groups supported by the
church affected by natural disaster. Most importantly,
we keep each ministry in prayer as they sacrifice much
for the spreading of the Gospel.
One of our newest ministries, ,
is led by our Staff Evangelist Ishmael Agiba where he
aims to equip and encourage Christians to share their
faith passionately with others. Focused on the local
community of Lomita and other surrounding areas, the
team continues to take on various projects in an effort
to show God's love and eventually lead our cities to
Christ.
